Today was my first day back to photographing. It was so refreshing to get back to working. Not going to lie it is a little overwhelming, wondering how I will balance the role of stay at home mom & run a  part-time photography business. I have vowed that this year will be a "lite" year, taking more time out for my family then in years past. I took for granted how fast time passes by with my oldest & I don't want to make that mistake again. 

Speaking of time passing by!! My first session back was one of Miss Mya…Now my history with Mya's mom & dad go all the way back to their engagement session!!! You know, when I insisted on calling her dad by another name, Poor guy!!!

I have captured a lot of those special moments with this family, so it was fitting that I would break out of my maternity leave to photograph Mya's ONE YEAR Session! She watched me like a hawk, but she wasn't scared of me & in my book….that equals a win!! 

This picture makes my heart happy on so many levels!!! And is my favorite from the session already, so it was an easy pick for the sneak peeks!!
